15 January 2019 – (Deerfield, IL, USA) – Fog Software Group (“Fog”), a division of Vela Software, has completed the acquisition of Factivity, Inc (“Factivity”).
Cleveland, OH-based Factivity is a leader in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software providing companies with plant floor production visibility, process optimization and integrated Advanced Planning Scheduling (APS) solutions. As a QAD Software partner, the multi lingual FACTIVITY suite of products serves made-to-stock, made-to-order and process manufacturers with installations in 16 countries worldwide.
Following the acquisition Factivity will operate as an independent division of Fog Software Group. The company will continue to develop, enhance, service, and support their industry leading FACTIVITY (MES) and other software solutions in providing a competitive edge to customers.
